Túlio Veiga's late challenge caught a Marília AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Palestrinos F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Túlio Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Rubens Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Tavares in the 5th minute of play. Renatinho Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Palestrinos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Mazza. Rubens Vale was a little too slow when Renatinho Tavares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Renatinho Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubens Vale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renatinho Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Palestrinos F.C's Rubens Vale got control of the ball when Renatinho Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rubens Vale made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Renatinho Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Renatinho Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Rubens Vale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renatinho Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Rubens Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Renatinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Marília AC booed when Palestrinos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Renatinho Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rubens Vale. Palestrinos F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renatinho Tavares was the one to do the kick off. If Renatinho Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58thth minute of the game Renatinho Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestrinos F.C's Rubens Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Palestrinos F.C booed when Marília AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bai Feng Ting didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Marília AC's Renatinho Tavares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubens Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rubens Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Tavares in the 69th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Palestrinos F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Tavares came free, but Rubens Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Ignatius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Rubens Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marília AC made a substitution. Delfim de Andrade replaced Renatinho Tavares. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Delfim de Andrade put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rubens Vale. Rubens Vale came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Marília AC's Delfim de Andrade. But to his dismay, Delfim de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marília AC fully deserved thier win.
