F.Salgado F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Robert Macaneață in the 14th minute. In the 31st match minute, F.Salgado F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pitin Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexsandro Massa hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Fausto da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

In the 52nd match minute, Guarani Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Massa to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto de Moraes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guarani Futebol Clube defense, Teodoro Moreno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto de Moraes. The Guarani Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto de Moraes should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Pitin Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.Salgado F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pitin Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. F.Salgado F.C.'s Matt Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Barros in the 71st minute of play. After 74 played minutes F.Salgado F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José França. Adalberto de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 77th minute of the match. Adalberto de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalberto de Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, F.Salgado F.C.'s Adalberto de Moraes threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pitin Sánchez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 88 played minutes Guarani Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Fausto da Cunha. Matt Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhun Taran in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in F.Salgado F.C.'s zone, Ferenc Puskás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matt Ryan came out of the goal and Ferenc Puskás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guarani Futebol Clube were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing F.Salgado F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
