Rubens Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rubens Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Custódio in the 33rd minute of play forced Palestrinos F.C's goalkeeper Rubens Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Vale having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Víktor Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guaicurus SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
