E. Palestra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Ortiz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Só de Fula F.C. getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lauro de Brito hit a great ball. S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Linares in the 18th minute of play. Zé Carlos Perez's late challenge caught a S. E. Palestra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Carlos Perez helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Carlos Perez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Nicolas de Amaral scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Albuquerque, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Só de Fula F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Nicolas de Amaral scored to the left of an out of position Alberto Albuquerque, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Linares in the 34th minute of play forced S. E. Palestra's goalkeeper Gláuber Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gláuber Senna in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Ramalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes S. E. Palestra got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Ortiz. In the 43rd minute, Betão Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lauro de Brito hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Matheus Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Só de Fula F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

S. E. Palestra's Gláuber Ramalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save S. E. Palestra from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, S. E. Palestra's goalkeeper Gláuber Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro de Brito. 57 minutes into the game, Clemente Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gláuber Ramalho. Clemente Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. In the 62nd minute of the match, Matheus Linares got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gláuber Ramalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 63rd minute Lauro de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Deivid Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by S. E. Palestra's Deivid Ortiz. But to his dismay, Deivid Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Gláuber Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Senna in the 75th minute of the match. Matheus Linares did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-5 to the left of a surprised Gláuber Ramalho 83 minutes into the match. Gláuber Ramalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
