In the 20th minute, Alexsandro Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Deivid Ortiz sped through Guarani Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adalberto de Moraes. 30 minutes into the match, Orhun Taran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Ramalho.
