Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Víktor Leme started the match with the kick off. Richard Neto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Juninho Velasco 3 minutes into the match. Doni Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Limoeiro-PE FC were awarded a corner. Doni Barbosa went to the cornerflag to take it. Juninho Velasco was a little too slow when Wiliam Pires got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 2-0. Juninho Velasco was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Doni Barbosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Doni Barbosa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 14 minutes, Doni Barbosa made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Guaicurus SC's Juninho Velasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Richard Neto took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Juninho Velasco to make any attempt to save it. Luís Fabiano Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Velasco having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Júlio de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaicurus SC and the Limoeiro-PE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Guaicurus SC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio de Almeida. 6-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Richard Neto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Juninho Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doni Barbosa went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When Tião Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Guaicurus SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tião Custódio couldn't finish the play. Juninho Velasco made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Doni Barbosa sent off a good shot on target. Doni Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Juninho Velasco made a huge save. Limoeiro-PE FC were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Guaicurus SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doni Barbosa took the corner. In the 42nd minute, Doni Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 47th minute, Richard Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juninho Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Barbosa to make the kick off. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Velasco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Barbosa in the 55th minute of play forced Guaicurus SC's goalkeeper Juninho Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Guaicurus SC defense, Richard Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Velasco. The Guaicurus SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Velasco should have stopped the shot. Juninho Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Barbosa in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Doni Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Guaicurus SC defense, Richard Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Velasco. The Guaicurus SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Velasco should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Doni Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Juninho Velasco. Guaicurus SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Allan Zonta got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute, Allan Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juninho Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juninho Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino do Valle in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Limoeiro-PE FC had played much better football throughout.
