Levente Majer was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Cássio de Senna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cássio de Senna really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 18th minute, Percival Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Maragua EC's Nildo Ceresso got a free kick in the 21st minute. Levente Majer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Cássio de Senna took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Levente Majer to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Guub United's Mário Araújo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Cássio de Senna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Levente Majer came out and tried to block the shot, but Cássio de Senna slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Maragua EC made a substitution. Chiquinho de Lara replaced Pedro Luís Pitta. Maragua EC's Zé Carlos de Barros was substituted for Erik Favoretto. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chiquinho de Lara to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Zé Carlos de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levente Majer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Guub United's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio de Senna came free, but Levente Majer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho de Lara took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Levente Majer. Guub United's Levente Majer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho de Lara in the 74th minute of play. Daniel Schmidt got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Daniel Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Luizão Braga made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Mário Araújo sent off a good shot on target. Chiquinho de Lara scored 6-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Levente Majer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luizão Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the game, João Paulo Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Levente Majer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
