Gugu Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Zanette in the 21st minute of the match. The RECOBA F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when RECOBA F.C.'s Cafu Furlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Furlan in the 26th minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Nilson Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Walmir de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half RECOBA F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Ramos was the one to do the kick off. Cafu Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nilson Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th match minute, RECOBA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Cafu Furlan struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nilson Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RECOBA F.C.. RECOBA F.C.'s Olavo Pirani was substituted for Murilo Mourato. Jarbas Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilson Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walmir de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Daniel Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Nilson Tinoco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmir de Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play. RECOBA F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
