Luizão Braga yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Dorian Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luizão Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Prado during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maragua EC booed when Brigido EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Brigido EC's Eriberto Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Maragua EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Eriberto Esteves scored to the left of an out of position Luizão Braga, making the score, 4-0. Gilberto Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Denílson Alvarenga notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Maragua EC's Luizão Braga. Luizão Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Eriberto Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brigido EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. João Paulo Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Bueno in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Maragua EC made a substitution. Chiquinho de Lara replaced Pedro Luís Pitta. Maragua EC's Zé Carlos de Barros was substituted for Erik Favoretto. The supporters of Brigido EC booed when Maragua EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Ceresso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Maragua EC's Chiquinho de Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-1. João Paulo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 67th minute Téo Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Alvarenga scored 8-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute Cássio de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cássio de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brigido EC's Téo Vergílio got a free kick in the 79th minute. João Paulo Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magno Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Brigido EC's goalkeeper Magno Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio de Senna. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho de Lara got free with Magno Pitta in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When João Paulo Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maragua EC's protests and gave João Paulo Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. João Paulo Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Luizão Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Esteves went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. Maragua EC's Luizão Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Bueno in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Denílson Alvarenga made a precise shot to the right of Luizão Braga. Maragua EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-1. Brigido EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
