Spectators: 2020 (Terracing: 2000, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Percy Bertassi started the match with the kick off. Percy Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Ulysses de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Adriano Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Lonzo. After 13 minutes of play, Bahia's Percy Bertassi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulysses de Alcântara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Bertassi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulysses de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Percy Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bahia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Bertassi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Bertassi in the 22nd minute of play forced TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ulysses de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Adriano Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's zone, Percy Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulysses de Alcântara came out of the goal and Percy Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mário Medeiros took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses de Alcântara. Ulysses de Alcântara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geovanni Vander during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geovanni Vander hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ulysses de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Medeiros in the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Percy Bertassi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Percy Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bahia were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Miranda was the one to do the kick off. Querubin Galvan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Miranda in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Percy Bertassi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Waldemar Lara sped through TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulysses de Alcântara. Waldemar Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ulysses de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Querubin Galvan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Bahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Querubin Galvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulysses de Alcântara came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahia's Percy Bertassi. But to his dismay, Percy Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Percy Bertassi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Ulysses de Alcântara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bahia's Percy Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulysses de Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Neto in the 86th minute. In the 86th minute, Bahia's Adriano Neto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ulysses de Alcântara. Ulysses de Alcântara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 88 minutes into the match, TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Ulysses de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Bertassi. TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulysses de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Lara in the 94th minute of play. The TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bahia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
