Gil de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RECOBA F.C.. Gil de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ramos in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gusmão Vilela in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gugu Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Metoloko FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gusmão Vilela in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Mathias Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Gusmão Vilela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gugu Tasso. Gusmão Vilela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Metoloko FC's Gusmão Vilela got a free kick in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Mathias Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gil de Almeida. Metoloko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of RECOBA F.C. booed when Metoloko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Gabriel Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gugu Tasso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Gabriel Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, RECOBA F.C.'s Murilo Mourato got a free kick in the 57th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Metoloko FC's Gusmão Vilela broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Cafu Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RECOBA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metoloko FC the free kick. In the 59th match minute, RECOBA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Furlan to maneuver through the defense. Gil de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Ramos in the 61st minute of play. Gil de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil de Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Cafu Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Furlan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Cipriano Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gugu Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Figueiredo in the 80th minute of play forced RECOBA F.C.'s goalkeeper Gugu Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Rudolf Engström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Metoloko FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Botelho. Yu Ying kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Cipriano Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metoloko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RECOBA F.C. the free kick. After 85 played minutes Metoloko FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Figueiredo. In the 88th minute, Gusmão Vilela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metoloko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Metoloko FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
