The Guub United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Levente Majer should have stopped the shot. Cícero Cruz hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Francisco Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Levente Majer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes Guub United got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Breckenfeld. Mário Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Frederico Fonseca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Levente Majer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 29th match minute, Guub United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé da Mata to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Xipoko's Nildo Macedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levente Majer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 35 minutes of play, Xipoko's Cícero Cruz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levente Majer was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Valdo Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Xipoko fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Carioca couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cícero Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Frederico Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Araújo in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Guub United getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dedé da Mata hit a great ball. Guub United's Levente Majer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guub United from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Cícero Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Levente Majer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Cícero Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Levente Majer. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. In the 68th minute, Janusz Grondzki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Levente Majer. The goal made the score 0-6. A collision led to Guub United getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ediberto Madureira hit a great ball. Cícero Cruz in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Levente Majer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Levente Majer was a little too slow when Valdo Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 82nd minute, Francisco Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guub United's attentive Francisco Breckenfeld managed to snatch the ball when Luan Luan made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. After 88 played minutes Guub United got a freekick which was hit by Mário Araújo. Levente Majer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Cruz in the 91st minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Xipoko's Elias Glad made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levente Majer was left in no man's land by his defense there!
