When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Pedrinho Bueno sped through TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulysses de Alcântara. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Bueno in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulysses de Alcântara saved TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE from getting behind. Benê Prado hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE's Ulysses de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Alvarenga in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Denílson Alvarenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses de Alcântara having to interfere. 55 minutes into the game, Téo Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brigido EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE the free kick. In the 57th play minute Denílson Alvarenga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ulysses de Alcântara. 0-6. Gláuber Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ulysses de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Denílson Alvarenga sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ulysses de Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Brigido EC's Denílson Alvarenga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Brigido EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Laerte Ceresso hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brigido EC's Pedrinho Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulysses de Alcântara. That made the score 0-10 after 85 minutes of play. Pedrinho Bueno was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Brigido EC's Pedrinho Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The TERRA NOVA FUTEBOL CLUBE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brigido EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
