But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Arantes couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Ademar Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute, Pedro Luís Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osmar Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Metoloko FC got a corner. Dilapdar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gusmão Vilela ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Metoloko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Arantes came free, but Gil de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dilapdar were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Metoloko FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademar Arantes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Vito Bezerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gil de Almeida quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With 31 minutes on the clock, Roger Magalhães commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 31 minutes into the game, one of Dilapdar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dilapdar:s Osmar Neiva showed great skill when he stopped Gusmão Vilela:s penalty. When Frédson Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dilapdar's protests and gave Frédson Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. Frédson Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Vasconcelos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Metoloko FC's Franklin Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Franklin Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metoloko FC's Gil de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Arantes in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 minutes, Ademar Arantes made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Metoloko FC's Gil de Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Botelho notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Dilapdar's Osmar Neiva. Osmar Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Arantes to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Pedro Luís Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metoloko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Luís Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gusmão Vilela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Neiva having to interfere. Osmar Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gusmão Vilela's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Metoloko FC's Gusmão Vilela in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dilapdar's goalie prevented a goal. After 64 played minutes Dilapdar got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Paraíba. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Gusmão Vilela put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Osmar Neiva. 70 minutes into the game, Gilson Cabral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dilapdar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metoloko FC the free kick. A collision led to Dilapdar getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gilson Cabral hit a great ball. Osmar Neiva didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Metoloko FC's Gusmão Vilela shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 77 minutes into the match, Metoloko FC's goalkeeper Gil de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ademar Arantes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademar Arantes in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil de Almeida saved Metoloko FC from getting behind. The supporters of Metoloko FC booed when Dilapdar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gusmão Vilela in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Neiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vito Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gil de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dilapdar. When Metoloko FC's Gusmão Vilela in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dilapdar's goalie prevented a goal. Metoloko FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
