Albertinho Bertassi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aylal Souza's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Gerson Salgado's late challenge caught a EGPS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristóvão Bittencourt was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as EGPS's Aylal Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albertinho Bertassi. That made the score 0-9 after 89 minutes of play. Albertinho Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Dias in the 93rd minute. The Átomo -El pai do New! fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. EGPS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
