With a little luck, Átomo -El pai do New!'s Albertinho Bertassi got control of the ball when Emanuel Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albertinho Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco da Costa in the 11th minute of the match. Deivid Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Albertinho Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldinho Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Vieira having to interfere. Caco Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sputnik FC's Gernando Madureira got a free kick in the 21st minute. Guilherme Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Bertassi was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Emanuel Tróia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Tróia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Francisco da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertinho Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Emanuel Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sputnik FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Caco Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Gerson Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guilherme Vieira was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco da Costa in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerson Salgado was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Francisco da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albertinho Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Albertinho Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Tróia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco da Costa in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho Bertassi saved Átomo -El pai do New! from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Átomo -El pai do New!'s Allan Loyola got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Albertinho Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco da Costa went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. If Emanuel Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Loyola hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Albertinho Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Francisco da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 87 in the game by Gerson Salgado from a close distance when the talented Guilherme Vieira managed to make a qualified save. Sputnik FC's players were relieved. Cláudio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Sputnik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cláudio Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Guilherme Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sputnik FC fully deserved thier win.
