The crowd rose to their feet as EGPS's Sandrinho Vinhas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomás Arantes. That made the score 4-0 after 23 minutes of play. In the 26th minute Sandrinho Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's Thomás Arantes got control of the ball when Cléber Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aylal Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EGPS's Anastasio Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Lopez in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Dida Arósio made the kick off in the second half. If Amauri Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚 booed when EGPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Dida Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Arósio couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚 defense, Sandrinho Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Arantes. The 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Arantes should have stopped the shot. After 67 minutes of play, EGPS's Cléber Dias made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomás Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Dias in the 74th minute of the match. Remo Prestes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Anastasio Sol made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Dida Arósio sent off a good shot on target. Sandrinho Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Arósio had several of the EGPS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 10-1 score and a disappointed Anastasio Sol as he didn't even see the shot coming. EGPS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
