Edmundo Gerber made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alvara's Rafinha Diniz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Palmeira in the 12th minute of play forced Sputnik FC's goalkeeper Guilherme Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvara's Nelson Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sputnik FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Lucas was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvara's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Nesho Karadakov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Vieira. Sputnik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nesho Karadakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nesho Karadakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Guilherme Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Tróia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Zachary Bugno made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Alvara's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco da Costa came free, but Zachary Bugno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sputnik FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Alvara's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco da Costa took the corner. A collision led to Sputnik FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Cipriano Damião hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Mateus Félix put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Guilherme Vieira. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Tróia to strike the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Ceresso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Nesho Karadakov took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Guilherme Vieira to make any attempt to save it. Caco Pinho made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alvara's Mateus Félix. Mateus Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Vieira having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Francisco da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachary Bugno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Nelson Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Félix in the 65th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Mateus Félix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guilherme Vieira. The goal made the score 1-5. Nesho Karadakov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Guilherme Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cláudio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. The Alvara fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Alvara's Nesho Karadakov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guilherme Vieira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nelson Palmeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 74 minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Enrique Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guilherme Vieira. Sputnik FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Nesho Karadakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Guilherme Vieira made a huge save. Guilherme Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Félix in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco da Costa in the 90th minute of play forced Alvara's goalkeeper Zachary Bugno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Bugno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sputnik FC's Guilherme Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Palmeira in the 93rd minute of play. Guilherme Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alvara walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
