In the 10th minute, Armandinho Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo de Azevedo. São Petersburgo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 12th minute, Lukasz Gmoch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in MDS Soccer Club's zone, Gildo Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zheng Di Xi came out of the goal and Gildo Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the São Petersburgo FC defense, Erivaldo Severo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo de Azevedo. The São Petersburgo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Erivaldo Severo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo de Azevedo was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Lukasz Gmoch struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Erasmo de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDS Soccer Club. Erasmo de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo. But to his dismay, Erivaldo Severo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 37th minute, Erivaldo Severo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Erasmo de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Gmoch went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. MDS Soccer Club's Erivaldo Severo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Lukasz Gmoch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDS Soccer Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio Meirelles made a kick off. Erasmo de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erivaldo Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Tony Palmeira. Horácio Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horácio Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. São Petersburgo FC's Erasmo de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save São Petersburgo FC from getting a goal against them. Lukasz Gmoch did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Erasmo de Azevedo 63 minutes into the match. Armandinho Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Erasmo de Azevedo made a huge save. A collision led to São Petersburgo FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Evandro de Senna hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Armandinho Brasil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erasmo de Azevedo. That made the score 0-9 in the 69 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as MDS Soccer Club's Armandinho Brasil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erasmo de Azevedo. That made the score 0-10 after 72 minutes of play. Erasmo de Azevedo was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Erivaldo Severo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erivaldo Severo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. MDS Soccer Club played a much better game than São Petersburgo FC and deserved their victory. The São Petersburgo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
