The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Sanches showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celso Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Turma do Funil's Frédson Peres got a free kick in the 36th minute. Celso Sanches came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Nassr Football Club's Zayvius Aveo. But to his dismay, Zayvius Aveo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Sandro Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Sanches having to interfere. The Turma do Funil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Al-Nassr Football Club were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Arí Barbosa made the kick off in the second half. Celso Sanches made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandro Cordeiro in the 52nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Al-Nassr Football Club's Evaristo Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celso Sanches. That made the score 0-5 after 56 minutes of play. Celso Sanches was a little too slow when Thomás Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-8. The throw-in from Yuri Lara in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Turma do Funil's Frédson Peres. In the 77th minute Evaristo Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Sanches came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Al-Nassr Football Club's Sandro Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Sandro Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Thanks to some nice moves Sandro Cordeiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Celso Sanches however easily saved by the left post. Celso Sanches made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Thomás Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Sandro Cordeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Celso Sanches made a huge save.
