After 2 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Bueno. Giovanni Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Mendonças short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Efrain Salamon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Benprev's Francisco de Azevedo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Hodne in the 10th minute of play. Efrain Salamon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guto Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Guto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Celtic FC from getting a goal against them. Guto Mendonça had several of the Celtic FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Efrain Salamon as he didn't even see the shot coming. Guto Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Efrain Salamon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guto Mendonça in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Salamon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Clemente Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Guto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celtic FC's Raphael Almeida in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benprev's goalie prevented a goal. After 48 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Oliveira. In the 48th minute of the match Zé Paulo Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Salamon skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Almeida made a kick off. Efrain Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Mendonça in the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Benprev's Guto Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 64th minute Guto Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Salamon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Benprev were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo Madureira went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Hodne in the 72nd minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Efrain Salamon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Hodne in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Hodne came free, but Efrain Salamon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Almeida hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. It was a well-played corner which Filip Hodne managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 96thth minute of the game Guto Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Benprev players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
