Cirilo EC's André Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos de Azevedo in the 18th minute of play. Florian Bialakowski came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cirilo EC's Charles Azevedo. But to his dismay, Charles Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cirilo EC's André Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferenc Puška in the 27th minute of play. Red Dragonss were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Cirilo EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armandinho Neves took the corner. In the 31st minute, Luciano Mandrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florian Bialakowski. The goal made the score 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Almeida during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Cirilo EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Almeida to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play, Red Dragonss's Marquinhos de Azevedo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Ceresso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 44 minutes, Marquinhos de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Dragonss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos de Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Red Dragonss's Florian Bialakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Red Dragonss from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marquinhos de Azevedo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Marquinhos de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Dragonss's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Ceresso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Marquinhos de Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Ceresso was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Sebastião Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. André Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragonss. A collision led to Cirilo EC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benê Capixaba hit a great ball. The supporters of Red Dragonss booed when Cirilo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Neves, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Benê Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match.
