The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Bobadilla got free with Álvaro Porto in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Freire FC defense, Marcos Boldrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro Porto. The Freire FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro Porto should have stopped the shot. Quata's Cristian Bobadilla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Álvaro Porto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Boldrini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Quata got a corner. Freire FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Federico Sidoro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Quata's Federico Sidoro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Álvaro Porto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 32nd minute, Gilmar Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 32nd minute, but Álvaro Porto got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Freire FC hanging dry this time. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Cristian Bobadilla sped through Freire FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Álvaro Porto. If Marcos Boldrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 minutes of play, Quata's Reinaldo Figueiredo made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Álvaro Porto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Marcos Boldrini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Bobadilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Álvaro Porto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Bobadilla in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Guaberto Lavet made the kick off in the second half. Álvaro Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Boldrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 50 minutes into the match, Marcos Boldrini notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Freire FC's Álvaro Porto. Álvaro Porto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Bobadilla in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Porto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cristian Bobadilla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro Porto was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Marcos Boldrini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 60th match minute, Freire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Cristian Bobadilla put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Álvaro Porto. Álvaro Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Boldrini in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes Freire FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Federico Sidoro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Quata's Mitch Saunders getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Cristian Bobadilla sped through Freire FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Álvaro Porto. Álvaro Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bobadilla in the 81st minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cristian Bobadilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Freire FC's Álvaro Porto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Cristian Bobadilla put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Álvaro Porto. The Quata fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Quata's Reinaldo Figueiredo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Freire FC! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Quata fully deserved thier win.
