Atlético Cristo Rei's Leo Jardim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Mandrak in the 3rd minute of play. Cirilo EC's André Ceresso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cirilo EC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Vítor Netto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Ceresso. Cirilo EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vítor Netto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 17th minute Toninho Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jano de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leo Jardim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Cristo Rei's Leo Jardim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano de Carvalho in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Felippe Sena reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Ceresso. The goal made the score 2-1. After 33 minutes of play, Cirilo EC's Simão Miranda made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Jardim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cirilo EC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Atlético Cristo Rei's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jano de Carvalho took the corner. The corner led Cirilo EC's Jano de Carvalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Leo Jardim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. André Ceresso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toninho Tande went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Michel Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Atlético Cristo Rei booed when Cirilo EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Felippe Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felippe Sena to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Sena in the 52nd minute of play forced Cirilo EC's goalkeeper André Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match, Jano de Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leo Jardim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jano de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jano de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Jardim having to interfere. Felippe Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Cirilo EC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Luciano Mandrak hit a great ball. Cirilo EC's André Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Netto in the 69th minute of play. André Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Sena in the 70th minute of the match. If Felippe Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jano de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cirilo EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jano de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Cirilo EC's André Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Sena in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Dé Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cirilo EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano de Carvalho in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Jardim saved Atlético Cristo Rei from getting behind. Atlético Cristo Rei walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
