Spectators: 7749 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) Inter de Munique's Nilmar Eger started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Alvarenga in the 4th minute of play forced Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Fabrício Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Munique from getting a goal against them. When Inter de Munique's Jailson da Silva in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Discovery's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jailson da Silva sped through Discovery's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Godfredo Teodor. In the 19th minute Ian Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Cavalcante in the 20th minute of play forced Inter de Munique's goalkeeper Fabrício Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Discovery were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Inter de Munique's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michalis Villas took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Ian Cavalcante to score against Fabrício Simões in Inter de Munique's goal. 1-1 after 22 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson da Silva in the 25th minute of play forced Discovery's goalkeeper Godfredo Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Nilmar Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Discovery's Godfredo Teodor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Discovery's Filipe Palmeira got a free kick in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Nilmar Eger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godfredo Teodor was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Nilmar Eger made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Discovery's Godfredo Teodor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Filipe Palmeira hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Cristóvão Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Discovery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualter do Valle to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Eger in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Teodor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Inter de Munique's Eusébio Barros got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristóvão Alvarenga made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Discovery got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Palmeira. Eusébio Barros, 51 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Ian Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Inter de Munique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Freitas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Cristóvão Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Discovery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristóvão Alvarenga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Barros scored 1-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Teodor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inter de Munique made a substitution. Andoni Donadoni replaced Nilmar Eger. Andoni Donadoni struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Godfredo Teodor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Munique. Godfredo Teodor was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Andoni Donadoni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andoni Donadoni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. In the 79th minute, Michalis Villas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Inter de Munique's Andoni Donadoni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Godfredo Teodor. Godfredo Teodor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. After 83 played minutes Discovery got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Alvarenga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andoni Donadoni in the 83rd minute of play forced Discovery's goalkeeper Godfredo Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Andoni Donadoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Teodor. Discovery's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andoni Donadoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Godfredo Teodor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andoni Donadoni's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Inter de Munique could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Discovery throughout the match.
