In the 3rd minute Amedeo Mameli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Ioan Andronache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aratuipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Remo Dantas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murillo Peixoto, 2-0. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Blumenau's Amedeo Mameli got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Vânderson Prado notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto. Murillo Peixoto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Válter Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Turban in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Tomás Turban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Válter Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Tomás Turban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murillo Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ioan Andronache, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Witalis Zyskowski made in the 46th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paşa Boll. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remo Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vânderson Prado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Atlético de Blumenau's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Andronache came free, but Murillo Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Atlético de Blumenau getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Washington Abreu hit a great ball. Frans Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Artur Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ioan Andronache's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Mameli in the 69th minute of play. When Aratuipe's Vânderson Prado in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético de Blumenau's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st match minute, Atlético de Blumenau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Nazario to maneuver through the defense. Vânderson Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Aratuipe's Válter Cunha got control of the ball when Amedeo Mameli tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético de Blumenau defense, Ioan Andronache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murillo Peixoto. The Atlético de Blumenau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murillo Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Washington Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Aratuipe's Paşa Boll nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murillo Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aratuipe had won after a very even match.
