Eusébio Barros scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válter Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Inter de Munique's Vítor Mota got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Remo Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aratuipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remo Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Remo Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Simões was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Renaud Verdonckt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Válter Cunha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabrício Simões came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Aratuipe's Remo Dantas. But to his dismay, Remo Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If Ioan Andronache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renaud Verdonckt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Durval Pirani during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aratuipe's Durval Pirani got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 played minutes, Inter de Munique's Eusébio Barros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válter Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Munique reached it. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Barros in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Aratuipe's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Eger came free, but Válter Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válter Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Dantas made a kick off. When Remo Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Aratuipe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Dantas couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Renaud Verdonckt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Válter Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Damião in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st play minute Eusébio Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Válter Cunha. 1-5. Válter Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Aratuipe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Nilmar Eger scored to the left of an out of position Válter Cunha, making the score, 1-6. Nilmar Eger hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Inter de Munique's Nilmar Eger got a free kick in the 71st minute. Fabrício Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remo Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Eusébio Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Válter Cunha made a huge save. When Renaud Verdonckt fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Munique's protests and gave Renaud Verdonckt a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Mota's late challenge caught a Aratuipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Mota helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Inter de Munique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Mota to maneuver through the defense. Andoni Donadoni charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andoni Donadoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Andoni Donadoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Freitas during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 87 minutes into the game, one of Inter de Munique:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fabrício Simões had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Witalis Zyskowski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The corner ended in Witalis Zyskowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões did a great save. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Aratuipe from getting a goal against them. Remo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Simões having to interfere. Fabrício Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ioan Andronache went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Inter de Munique left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aratuipe.
