Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th match minute, Chuteira de Prata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elivélton Lara to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Cabral in the 13th minute of play forced Chuteira de Prata's goalkeeper Angelo Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Vinícius Correia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan. Carlinhos Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Vinícius Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuteira de Prata's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinícius Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chuteira de Prata's zone, Ademar Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Soares came out of the goal and Ademar Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius Correia struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Carlinhos Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuteira de Prata. After a defensive mix-up in Chuteira de Prata's zone, Betão Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Soares came out of the goal and Betão Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Furlan having to interfere. A collision led to Chuteira de Prata getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Iuri Peixoto hit a great ball. Betão Neves's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Angelo Soares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th match minute, Chuteira de Prata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson da Silva to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Chuteira de Prata's goalkeeper Angelo Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Betão Neves. Betão Neves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Angelo Soares made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Betão Neves to make the kick off. Betão Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Soares having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Chuteira de Prata got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Pimenta. In the 59th minute of the match Paulinho Catarinense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Soares skillfully saved the ball. Angelo Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Vinícius Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Vinícius Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute Betão Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Trembolona's Tarcisio de Queirós was substituted for Tiago de Queiroz. In the 78th minute Trembolona were awarded a corner. Paulinho Catarinense went to the cornerflag to take it. Paulinho Catarinense made a great header on Trembolona's corner, it was just that Chuteira de Prata's Angelo Soares managed to reach the ball for a save. Betão Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trembolona's Aílton Guimarães was substituted for Betão Neves. Angelo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Guimarães in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Correia in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Vinícius Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Chuteira de Prata were awarded a corner. Kornél Török went to the cornerflag to take it. Iuri Peixoto kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Aílton Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Soares. Chuteira de Prata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trembolona had played much better football throughout.
