Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Chute de Ouro FC's Amador Patxi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Patxi in the 7th minute of play forced Trembolona's goalkeeper Carlinhos Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Eric Simion rounded Trembolona's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Amador Patxi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlinhos Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Trembolona's Maurício Arósio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maurício Arósio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Trembolona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maurício Arósio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trembolona! Carlinhos Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Amador Patxi took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Carlinhos Furlan to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, Trembolona's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Simion came free, but Carlinhos Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Paulinho Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar Cabral was the one to do the kick off. Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Simion in the 50th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Trembolona's zone, Amador Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Furlan came out of the goal and Amador Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chute de Ouro FC booed when Trembolona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Simion in the 57th minute of play forced Trembolona's goalkeeper Carlinhos Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Amador Patxi made a precise shot to the right of Carlinhos Furlan. Trembolona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Carlinhos Furlan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Chute de Ouro FC's Eric Simion. But to his dismay, Eric Simion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A collision led to Chute de Ouro FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Amador Patxi hit a great ball. A collision led to Trembolona getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Naldo Quirino hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Eric Simion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chute de Ouro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Simion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trembolona's Aílton Guimarães was substituted for Betão Neves. Carlinhos Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Simion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Simion took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Furlan. Carlinhos Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Simion in the 94th minute of play forced Trembolona's goalkeeper Carlinhos Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chute de Ouro FC had won after a very even match.
