With a little luck, Planet Caravan's Romeu Marques got control of the ball when Claudinei Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Raça fla's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson dos Santos came free, but Cesinha Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Planet Caravan getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hudson dos Santos hit a great ball. Vitinho Silva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesinha Ferreira. Raça fla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Bebeto Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 21 played minutes, Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesinha Ferreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Planet Caravan reached it. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesinha Ferreira was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diguinho Moreno in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bebeto Queirós in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesinha Ferreira saved Raça fla from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Bebeto Queirós ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesinha Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 40 minutes into the game, Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cesinha Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 43 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Dedê Vinhas. Cesinha Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bebeto Queirós went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Raça fla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Planet Caravan were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudinei Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Hudson dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesinha Ferreira was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Cesinha Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Queirós in the 55th minute of the match. Cesinha Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Raça fla's Danilo Simões got a free kick in the 85th minute. With his leg Cesinha Ferreira managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Planet Caravan's Bebeto Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute Bebeto Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesinha Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Planet Caravan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
