Jabaquara's Ionică Enache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Jabaquara from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Jacinto got free with Ionică Enache in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arkadiusz Basinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Enache having to interfere. Ionică Enache made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Luisão Pires sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Jabaquara's goalkeeper Ionică Enache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisão Pires. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wellington Jacinto in the 42nd minute of play forced Jabaquara's goalkeeper Ionică Enache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulão Toledo made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Black Angel however managed to control. CJ van der Sar was a little too slow when Mete Gøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-2. Wellington Jacinto hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rafinha Xavier hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90thth minute of the game Luisão Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jabaquara's Ionică Enache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, RENOVO's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Gonchan came free, but CJ van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Mete Gøl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RENOVO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jabaquara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
