In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viamão F.C.'s goalkeeper Enginalp Afşar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enginalp Afşar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lin Zhen Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes Viamão F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lin Zhen Yuan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Warren FC - DMZ's Samuel Valladares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Warren FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Simão Santos hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Simão Santos made a precise shot to the right of Enginalp Afşar. Viamão F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Enginalp Afşar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Santos in the 19th minute of the match. Simão Santos took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enginalp Afşar. Enginalp Afşar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 26th minute, Vítor Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Simão Santos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Viamão F.C.'s Enginalp Afşar. Enginalp Afşar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Warren FC - DMZ's Dorian Dias got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Enginalp Afşar came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Warren FC - DMZ's Simão Santos. But to his dismay, Simão Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Warren FC - DMZ's Ladislao Bermudo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloísio Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marek Koniarek in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Viamão F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simão Santos came free, but Enginalp Afşar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Meira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Viamão F.C.'s Enginalp Afşar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Santos in the 45th minute of play. Marek Koniarek hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Viamão F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Simão Santos came free, but Enginalp Afşar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Silas Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Santos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 59th playminute. Enginalp Afşar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Santos in the 68th minute of the match. Simão Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enginalp Afşar came out and tried to block the shot, but Simão Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 70th minute. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Viamão F.C.! With a little luck, Viamão F.C.'s Enginalp Afşar got control of the ball when Ladislao Bermudo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simão Santos got free with Enginalp Afşar in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Warren FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. Lin Zhen Yuan went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Domingos Da Guía managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Warren FC - DMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
