In the 8th minute Leon Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Piao's Marcelo dos Santos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Edmílson Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Artur Cabral made a huge save. Piao's Artur Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Silveira in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute Umberto Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 3-0 became the score in the 29th minute when Edmílson Souza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Dedê Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parasinho FC and the Piao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nelson Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Artur Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Parasinho FC fully deserved thier win.
