After 15 minutes of play, Dragons EC's Anatoliy Lobanov made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pastor Chesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adam Nørlyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Chesus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christiano Ramalho in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Huygens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anatoliy Lobanov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Pastor Chesus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Ramalho came free, but Casper Huygens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César Sampaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Chesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. César Sampaio ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sprite Star Football's zone, Adam Nørlyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Chesus came out of the goal and Adam Nørlyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 minutes, Manoel Pitta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons EC and the Sprite Star Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Dragons EC got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Pitta. Sprite Star Football's Christiano Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sprite Star Football booed when Dragons EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Fontes in the 47th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Wiliam Fontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sprite Star Football fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anatoliy Lobanov to make the kick off. Pastor Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anatoliy Lobanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Claudinho Braga fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragons EC's protests and gave Claudinho Braga a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinho Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A hard shot by Wiliam Fontes from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Casper Huygens's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 58 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Ramalho. 61 minutes in the game Wiliam Fontes after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Casper Huygens. A very good opportunity. Casper Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Casper Huygens made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Christiano Ramalho sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Ramalho. After 79 minutes, Adalberto Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons EC and the Sprite Star Football players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adalberto Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goalkeeper Casper Huygens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Peixoto. With an all-out effort, Sprite Star Football's Casper Huygens threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Macias Calvete, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dragons EC's Casper Huygens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Peixoto in the 90th minute of play. After 97 minutes, Percival Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sprite Star Football and the Dragons EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Percival Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dragons EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sprite Star Football had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
