Dieguinho Amaral started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Golden Falcon F.C got a freekick which was hit by Shi Lang. A collision led to Golden Falcon F.C getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Adelino Faria hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Motta. Cayetano Rito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Kuzmov in the 12th minute. Didi Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Amaral in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Golden Falcon F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Luís Paulo Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Didi Saraiva. Golden Falcon F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieguinho Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sony Anderson in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paulopolis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Falcon F.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Dieguinho Amaral got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 39th minute Ruy Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi Saraiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Sabóia in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Amaral. After 47 played minutes Golden Falcon F.C got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Amaral. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Sony Anderson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Golden Falcon F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Lang to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Quirino in the 58th minute of play. Dieguinho Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didi Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Amaral recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Didi Saraiva. Dieguinho Amaral showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sony Anderson in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sony Anderson in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Rito saved Paulopolis from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Paulopolis's Didi Saraiva threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dieguinho Amaral, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Didi Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Kuzmov in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Henrique Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulopolis and the Golden Falcon F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Gonçalves hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Boni Rosell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Faria made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Boni Rosell immediately put the ball in play. Enrique Falcão's late challenge caught a Golden Falcon F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Enrique Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Golden Falcon F.C lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
