Leonel Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Lobo Zornoza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Célio Fontes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leonel Meirelles. Lobo Zornoza struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Leonel Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE. In the 21st minute of the match Placido Fernado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Meirelles skillfully saved the ball. Leonel Meirelles came out of the goal and Célio Fontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Silva hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Célio Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of MtoLokosFC booed when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Zornoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Amado Froila made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Meirelles. MtoLokosFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute Amado Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Lobo Zornoza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Meirelles. The goal made the score 0-10. 62 minutes into the match, Célio Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonel Meirelles, 0-11. Nae Buteanu took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Meirelles. Leonel Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Leonel Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Zanussi in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, José Maria Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, MtoLokosFC's José Maria Costa got a free kick in the 89th minute. Kiko Tande recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Froila scored 0-13 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
