Cayetano Rito was a little too slow when Amado Froila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Fontes in the 10th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Froila came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Nae Buteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cayetano Rito made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Amado Froila sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goalkeeper Cayetano Rito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio Fontes. When Maurício Motta fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Maurício Motta a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the game, one of Paulopolis:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lobo Zornoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lobo Zornoza might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Rito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lobo Zornoza ran back to his position shaking his head. Lobo Zornoza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Rito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Carneiro in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE defense, Ruy Carneiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juvenal Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Nae Buteanu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Célio Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Cayetano Rito made a huge save. Célio Fontes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 37thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paulopolis's keeper Cayetano Rito was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Cayetano Rito got control of the ball when Célio Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 minutes of play, Paulopolis's Ruy Carneiro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruy Carneiro made a kick off. A collision led to CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lobo Zornoza hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's Ruy Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juvenal Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 played minutes CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Borges. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Juvenal Sergipano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute Célio Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Amado Froila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Ruy Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Froila, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cayetano Rito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Froila in the 75th minute of the match. Maurício Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cayetano Rito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Johnson in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Froila came free, but Cayetano Rito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Henrique Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Johnson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Rito. Cayetano Rito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Cayetano Rito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's Brian Johnson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cayetano Rito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE had played much better football throughout.
