The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Raúl Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Meirelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Leonel Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Meirelles was a little too slow when Joel Aparecido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Yuri Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Raúl Ceresso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Meirelles. Raúl Ceresso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Joel Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talento Futebol clube's protests and gave Joel Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Cássio Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Joel Aparecido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Meirelles. The goal made the score 3-0. Leonel Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raúl Ceresso in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Yuri Peres recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonel Meirelles. Yuri Peres showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MtoLokosFC! Leonel Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of MtoLokosFC booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Souza in the 63rd minute of play forced MtoLokosFC's goalkeeper Leonel Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Zago, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leonel Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Ceresso in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to MtoLokosFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dagoberto Sampaio hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, MtoLokosFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Ceresso came free, but Leonel Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, MtoLokosFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes of play, Talento Futebol clube's Bernardo Pernambucano made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonel Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Zago in the 78th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Talento Futebol clube's Joel Aparecido made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonel Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dagoberto Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MtoLokosFC's Dagoberto Sampaio got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Talento Futebol clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Aparecido went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Talento Futebol clube had played much better football throughout.
