In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Damião, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aldo Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Baudelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Damião breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th match minute, TERROR DA MOOCA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Evaristo Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Baudelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton Costa was the one to do the kick off. Silas Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's Herald Van Den Eynden got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Gilvan Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TERROR DA MOOCA F.C. and the GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. 70 minutes into the game, one of TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's Vágner Severo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Evaristo Damião. In the 75th minute Herald Van Den Eynden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vágner Severo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Herald Van Den Eynden heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s Evaristo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save TERROR DA MOOCA F.C. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s Basílio Ortiz got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute of the match GERSÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE got a corner. TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vágner Severo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ademir Lima got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evaristo Damião quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Herald Van Den Eynden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TERROR DA MOOCA F.C.'s Evaristo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save TERROR DA MOOCA F.C. from getting a goal against them.
