Xandeco FC's Guga de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toto Škarpa in the 7th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, Timão F.C.'s Vali Mălaimare made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga de Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Xandeco FC defense, Toto Škarpa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guga de Azevedo. The Xandeco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guga de Azevedo should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Timão F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Nóbrega came free, but Celestino Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timão F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xandeco FC the free kick. In the last second Celestino Gervaso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Edmund Balkiewicz in the 33rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Guga de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timão F.C.'s Wang Qian Liang quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gilmar Velloso, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Toto Škarpa took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guga de Azevedo. Guga de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmund Balkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. Toto Škarpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Guga de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cyryl Gomolka fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timão F.C.'s protests and gave Cyryl Gomolka a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Timão F.C.'s Cyryl Gomolka got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Antônio Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Luiz Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Gilmar Velloso in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Timão F.C.'s Wang Qian Liang. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Timão F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
