Aki Nao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeferson Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aki Nao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo do Vale in the 22nd minute of the match. Aki Nao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Jeferson Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aki Nao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aki Nao came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Felizberto EC's Dalmo Netto. But to his dismay, Dalmo Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gonçalo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Felizberto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Netto to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Jeferson Vale with Fabinho Valadares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 37th minute Ulisses Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aki Nao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Felizberto EC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dieguinho Salgado hit a great ball. Gonçalo Urbano took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Sampaio. Marcus Sampaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeferson Furtado was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Furtado in the 57th minute of play forced Jacareipe's goalkeeper Aki Nao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo do Vale in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chico Domingues's late challenge caught a Felizberto EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chico Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Jacareipe got a freekick which was hit by Chico Domingues. Chico Domingues hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Felizberto EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Urbano came free, but Marcus Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Felizberto EC booed when Jacareipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulisses Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Aki Nao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felizberto EC. Jacareipe's Aki Nao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmo Netto in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute Ronaldo do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Felizberto EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Evandro Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Jacareipe's players had a chance to rest. Evandro Duarte made a great header on Jacareipe's corner, it was just that Felizberto EC's Marcus Sampaio managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Furtado in the 96th minute of play forced Jacareipe's goalkeeper Aki Nao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Felizberto EC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jacareipe from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
