Natanael Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tales de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Arlindo Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tales de Medeiros. Bandeirinha AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arlindo Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jairo Barros struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tales de Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UP! Essencia FC. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Didi Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tales de Medeiros came out of the goal and Didi Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Natanael Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UP! Essencia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, UP! Essencia FC's goalkeeper Cacá Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Quadros. Natanael Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales de Medeiros having to interfere. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Vito Velasco sped through Bandeirinha AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tales de Medeiros. In the 28th minute, Didi Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Tiago Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vito Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Natanael Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tales de Medeiros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Velasco in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tales de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bandeirinha AD's Tales de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Rosa in the 40th minute of play. After 43 minutes, David Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandeirinha AD and the UP! Essencia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Quadros hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half UP! Essencia FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vito Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vito Velascos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Tales de Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute, Marcelinho Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales de Medeiros came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by UP! Essencia FC's Vito Velasco. But to his dismay, Vito Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 61 minutes of play, UP! Essencia FC's Natanael Rosa made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tales de Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vito Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tales de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Vito Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tales de Medeiros having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Natanael Rosa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tales de Medeiros. That made the score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. UP! Essencia FC's Natanael Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Didi Sergipano missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 92 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tales de Medeiros right hand side. When the match was over UP! Essencia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bandeirinha AD throughout the match.
