After 4 minutes of play, Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romário Dantas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Yan Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Zonta in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romário Dantas saved Laranja EC from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Ulises Urtats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esporte Clube Pilar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 18 played minutes Laranja EC got a freekick which was hit by Cafu do Nascimento. In the 23rd minute, Yan Zonta made a precise shot to the right of Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 25 minutes, Yan Zonta made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Romário Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bautista Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Romário Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute of the match, João Vítor Dante tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roch Orszak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Romário Dantas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Zonta went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Vítor Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Romário Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sidney Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Yan Zonta struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Romário Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Pilar. 67 minutes into the match, Yan Zonta notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Laranja EC's Romário Dantas. Romário Dantas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Laranja EC booed when Esporte Clube Pilar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Laranja EC's Jardel Arantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Orszak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Yan Zonta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romário Dantas. The goal made the score 0-8. Romário Dantas came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Pilar's Bautista Quintero. But to his dismay, Bautista Quintero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Yan Zonta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romário Dantas. That made the score 0-10 in the 82 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Yan Zonta lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Romário Dantas. Laranja EC's Romário Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zonta in the 90th minute of play. Ulises Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Romário Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romário Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bautista Quintero in the 94th minute of the match. When Yan Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Esporte Clube Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Zonta couldn't finish the play. Esporte Clube Pilar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
