Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Washington Lira took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Lira came free, but Laerte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When DENVER™'s Washington Lira in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalie prevented a goal. After 14th play minutes Washington Lira shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Laerte de Barros and just under the crossbar into goal. Washington Lira took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laerte de Barros. Laerte de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Washington Lira in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte de Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute of the match DENVER™ got a corner. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dráusio Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the match, Washington Lira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laerte de Barros. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Lira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 40 minutes into the game, DENVER™'s Washington Lira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laerte de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Laerte de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, one of F.C. Carmo De Kiev:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C. Carmo De Kiev. After the first half DENVER™ were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalkeeper Laerte de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Washington Lira. Washington Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Lira got free with Laerte de Barros in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Carmo De Kiev's zone, Elias Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laerte de Barros came out of the goal and Elias Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the F.C. Carmo De Kiev defense, Dráusio Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laerte de Barros. The F.C. Carmo De Kiev fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laerte de Barros should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute of the match, Washington Lira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Laerte de Barros was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laerte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Gribfeldt in the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Carmo De Kiev's zone, Washington Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laerte de Barros came out of the goal and Washington Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DENVER™ made a substitution. Yan Yu Nan replaced Valentine Tutorskiy. 76 minutes into the match, Dráusio Garcia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laerte de Barros, 0-9. Délio Campidelis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Laerte de Barros made a huge save. Laerte de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Délio Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. William Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. F.C. Carmo De Kiev's Laerte de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Campidelis in the 92nd minute of play. When DENVER™'s Délio Campidelis in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Carmo De Kiev's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Victor Batista got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 98 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Eric Burdon. Nico Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder da Silveira in the 99th minute of the match. When the match was over DENVER™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C. Carmo De Kiev throughout the match.
