Magno Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Alagoano in the 8th minute of the match. Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Yan Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magno Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, EC Fragata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Damião to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Damião's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Victor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The Esporte Clube Pilar fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Esporte Clube Pilar's Dito Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 33rd minute, Yan Zonta made a precise shot to the right of Magno Leite. EC Fragata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Yan Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Magno Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Esporte Clube Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Yan Zonta. After 47 played minutes EC Fragata got a freekick which was hit by Didi Rodrigues. In the 48th minute of the match Luan Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magno Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The EC Fragata players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Esporte Clube Pilar were winning 0-2.

Dráuzio Valadares hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Severino Vieira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Magno Leite, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Pilar's Luan Alagoano got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 65th minute of the match, Bautista Quintero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Magno Leite was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Severino Vieira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Magno Leite, 0-4. If Gilmar Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Magno Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EC Fragata's Magno Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Zonta in the 93rd minute of play. The EC Fragata supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esporte Clube Pilar's performance. The match ended with a win for Esporte Clube Pilar.
