Maurício Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Veloso in the 5th minute of play. If Richard Boschker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Boschker scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Boschker, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Antônio Carlos Veloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube Atlético Impávido fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Maurício Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Kisielka went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Ekström in the 24th minute of play forced Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Maurício Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Arne Ekström went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Maurício Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Clube Atlético Impávido were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute Antônio Carlos Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurício Mandrak came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Impávido's Antônio Carlos Veloso. But to his dismay, Antônio Carlos Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Meninos do Morro F.C's Maurício Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Meninos do Morro F.C from getting a goal against them. Clube Atlético Impávido's Stig-Arne Ekström suffered a concussion in the 61st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Clube Atlético Impávido's Válter Camargo was substituted for Stig-Arne Ekström. 71 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Boschker came free, but Maurício Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Meninos do Morro F.C's Maurício Mandrak got control of the ball when Válter Camargo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurício Mandrak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Camargo went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. Edward Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maurício Mandrak came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Impávido's Edward Kisielka. But to his dismay, Edward Kisielka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edward Kisielka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Impávido's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Kisielka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válter Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Válter Camargo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Maurício Mandrak however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válter Camargo got free with Maurício Mandrak in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurício Mandrak was a little too slow when Edward Kisielka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-12. Clube Atlético Impávido's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
