Meninos do Morro F.C's Maurício Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Paes in the 4th minute of play. Maurício Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 7th minute of play. Maurício Mandrak came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Dementadores's Régis Paes. But to his dismay, Régis Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Meninos do Morro F.C defense, Dariusz Jaruzelski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Mandrak. The Meninos do Morro F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Maurício Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Ostoici in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Meninos do Morro F.C booed when Dementadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marlin Rosas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Petruț Ostoici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dementadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 24 minutes, Jan-Olof Arenstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dementadores and the Meninos do Morro F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Duarte Gonçalves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 29 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marlin Rosas came free, but Maurício Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dementadores's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petruț Ostoici in the 30th minute. Petruț Ostoici made a great header on Dementadores's corner, it was just that Meninos do Morro F.C's Maurício Mandrak managed to reach the ball for a save. Maurício Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlin Rosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Régis Paes notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Meninos do Morro F.C's Maurício Mandrak. Maurício Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Petruț Ostoici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Mandrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Dariusz Jaruzelski scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Mandrak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dariusz Jaruzelski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Meninos do Morro F.C booed when Dementadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dariusz Jaruzelski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dementadores getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Osmar Peres hit a great ball. César do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dementadores's zone, Vladimir Cabral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Oliveira came out of the goal and Vladimir Cabral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Petruț Ostoici reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maurício Mandrak. The goal made the score 0-7. Osmar Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Dementadores's Diguinho Vasconcelos was substituted for Dariusz Jaruzelski. 82 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Marlin Rosas came free, but Maurício Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Mandrak came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dementadores's Diguinho Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Diguinho Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diguinho Vasconcelos got free with Maurício Mandrak in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurício Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlin Rosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Maurício Mandrak was a little too slow when Petruț Ostoici got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 0-9. Maurício Mandrak didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dementadores's Diguinho Vasconcelos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-10 in the ordered_time% minute. Dementadores's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
