After 14 minutes, Alexsandro Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenix and the Dementadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexsandro Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Acácio Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 15th minute of the match. Acácio Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marlin Rosas, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Kroos in the 17th minute of play forced Dementadores's goalkeeper Zeca Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petruț Ostoici received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Acácio Guimarães came out and tried to block the shot, but Petruț Ostoici slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 19th minute. Dalmo Jacinto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Dementadores's Fabio Luciano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Thomás Kroos might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeca Oliveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomás Kroos ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeca Oliveira came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Fenix's Duda Saraiva. But to his dismay, Duda Saraiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Zeca Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duda Saraiva in the 36th minute of play. Fabio Luciano kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alexsandro Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Zeca Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Oliveira having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dariusz Jaruzelski to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexsandro Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeca Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dalmo Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the match, Dementadores's goal looked a bit too open when Duda Saraiva came free, but Zeca Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeca Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Paes came free, but Acácio Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dementadores fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! 87 minutes into the match, Dariusz Jaruzelski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Guimarães. Fenix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dariusz Jaruzelski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 89th match minute, Fenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 92nd minute of play forced Fenix's goalkeeper Acácio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fenix's Duda Saraiva slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeca Oliveira. That made the score 3-4 after 93 minutes of play. Thomás Kroos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Fenix left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dementadores.
