After taking down the ball on Clube Atlético Impávido's corner Edward Kisielka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edson Ramalho quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Edson Ramalho managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Clube Atlético Impávido's Reinaldo Hermes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the game, Stig-Arne Ekström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edson Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edson Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Ekström in the 24th minute. A collision led to Clube Atlético Impávido getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Reinaldo Hermes hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Edson Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Edson Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Arne Ekström. In the 32nd minute, Edward Kisielka fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Stig-Arne Ekström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edson Ramalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Stig-Arne Ekström slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 34th minute. Antônio Carlos Veloso hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Richard Boschker scored 5-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edson Ramalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meninos do Morro F.C's goalkeeper Edson Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Meninos do Morro F.C's zone, Richard Boschker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Ramalho came out of the goal and Richard Boschker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Ekström came free, but Edson Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Kisielka took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edson Ramalho. Edson Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Antônio Carlos Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Impávido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Carlos Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meninos do Morro F.C's Edson Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Arne Ekström in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Meninos do Morro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Ekström came free, but Edson Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Clube Atlético Impávido's Richard Boschker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clube Atlético Impávido were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Meninos do Morro F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Kisielka took the corner. Meninos do Morro F.C's Edson Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Boschker in the 75th minute of play. Edson Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Boschker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
