Geovanni Brasils short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Falcão Arantes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Gaúcho in the 31st minute of play forced Fedegoso's goalkeeper Christian Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Arantes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Geovanni Brasil sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Fedegoso getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Baltazar Bittencourt hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Romário Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Arrocha F.C.'s Falcão Arantes got control of the ball when Kléber Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 81stth minute of the game Wesley Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fedegoso's Christian Alagoano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arrocha F.C.'s Falcão Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Melo in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Arrocha F.C. got a corner. Fedegoso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wesley Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Fedegoso had won after a very even match.
